💡 What is a Hub?

The Beyond Better Hub is the server that powers BB. It handles AI interactions, manages your projects, and stores your data. You can run it locally on your machine, use our cloud hub, or connect to a custom server.

Note: Cloud Hub is only available when accessing BB from official domains. You can use a Local Hub or Custom Hub instead.

💻 Local Hub: Runs on your machine. Your data stays local. Requires BB Hub installation. Has optional "local-only" offline mode. Note: Only local Hub works with filesystem data source (unless using local agent - coming soon, not yet available).
🔧 Custom Hub: For advanced users. Connect to BB Hub on your network. Requires manual configuration.
